📋 Description

• Operate and monitor batch workflows in Control-M (Mainframe), ensuring SLA compliance. • Respond promptly to abends and processing failures by analyzing issues, applying fixes, releasing jobs, and performing reprocessing/restarts. • Perform quick code investigations in programs to identify root causes and execution parameters. • Make changes to JCL and COBOL/DB2 programs (steps, DDs, parameters, datasets, conditionals and RCs). • Adjust and validate SYSINs (execution cards and parameters). • Conduct analyses and implement changes to COBOL programs and JCLs following formal change-management processes. • Work shifts (evening/overnight) and weekends as scheduled.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Control-M Mainframe (dependencies, rerun/restart and troubleshooting). • Proficiency in JCL and SYSIN. • Experience analyzing failures in a TSO/ISPF environment. • Practical knowledge of batch processing (RCs, steps and datasets). • Experience with GDG and VSAM (as applicable to the client context). • Availability to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends. • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
