Mira Mace is a patient advocacy and healthcare navigation service that connects Medicare beneficiaries and other patients with expert care advocates who manage insurance issues, pre-authorization appeals, appointment scheduling, care coordination, and medical-bill review. Advocates are reachable by text or call, create individualized care plans, and work to prevent delays, surprise bills, and gaps in care so patients can more easily access the right in-network providers and in-home support.

📋 Description

• Own the operating system that delivers Mira's care, including patient enrollment and onboarding, Care Advocate hiring, training and staffing, clinician credentialing, and converting care into revenue • Work with the COO to build and scale patient enrollment, provider teams, Care Advocate teams, and their underlying workflows • Collaborate with engineering to ensure internal systems meet rigorous standards • Work with compliance, credentialing, and enrollment teams to prepare providers to see patients and meet CMS requirements • Convert people-dependent work into documented, measured, repeatable processes • Build capacity plans for advocate and clinician staffing based on demand • Identify and resolve the most important weekly bottleneck • Build and lead the operations team as Mira scales

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree from a top 15 school • Prior experience at McKinsey, BCG or Bain • Strategy and operations leadership experience after consulting, with measurable results • Track record of building predictable, measurable systems in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment • Preferred: healthcare operations experience, especially Medicare, provider operations or revenue cycle • Preferred: experience at a high-growth startup • Preferred: financial modeling expertise • Preferred: experience using Claude Code to build proof-of-concept artifacts that become dashboards or processes
