📋 Description

• Deliver strong, sustainable business performance and meaningful patient impact across an assigned territory • Develop clinical and account expertise in rare cholestatic liver diseases and Mirum's Liver portfolio • Identify and prioritize high-opportunity customers, accounts, and referral networks • Execute customized account plans advancing disease awareness, patient identification, treatment consideration, initiation, and persistence • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with national, zone, and regional priorities • Use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy • Maintain customer records, forecasts, expense reports, administrative documentation, and business updates • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and care teams across complex accounts • Map influence and decision-making, establish engagement objectives, and secure next steps • Coordinate compliant account actions across field partners • Communicate complex scientific and clinical information accurately and credibly • Execute approved promotional programs and customer engagements in compliance with company policies and regulations • Influence multiple stakeholders, navigate resistance, and advance customer decision-making • Keep patients and caregivers central to territory and account decisions • Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Services to help care teams navigate appropriate patient-journey barriers • Identify and elevate customer, access, and patient-support barriers • Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Commercial Training and Effectiveness, Operations, Analytics, and Advocacy • Capture actionable field insights and contribute to business reviews, training, meetings, launch readiness, and cross-functional initiatives • Operate with ownership, initiative, resourcefulness, resilience, and commitment to continuous learning • Model Mirum's values and ethical, compliant, transparent, inclusive, and respectful conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry • Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering business results in a complex specialty, rare disease, orphan drug, or high-science market • Strong clinical aptitude and ability to learn, retain, and communicate complex disease-state, diagnostic, mechanism-of-action, clinical-data, and product information • Experience with account-based selling across health systems, centers of excellence, multidisciplinary care teams, referral networks, and influential healthcare professionals • Experience with insight-led or challenger-style selling • Working knowledge of access and reimbursement dynamics, patient support pathways, and patient services in rare disease markets • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret performance data and develop territory and account strategies • Exceptional interpersonal, emotional intelligence, communication, presentation, and judgment skills • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, resilience, organization, prioritization, and ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment • Cross-functional partnership experience with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Commercial Training and Effectiveness, Operations, and Analytics • Commitment to ethical conduct, compliance, and approved promotional practices • Valid driver's license • Ability to travel up to 70%, including frequent overnight travel and occasional weekend commitments
