β’ Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair of UPS, LV & MV power systems at client sites throughout the US β’ Require 70% travel and operate with a high degree of independence β’ Serve as the on-site technical expert, building client relationships while keeping critical power equipment running reliably β’ Leads jobs and manages field activities β’ Troubleshoot and repair breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, UPS, battery systems, and control panels β’ Conduct root cause analysis on complex electrical failures β’ Work with Modular Enclosures and Power Skid systems and perform field surveys β’ Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and timelines β’ Review electrical plans and designs to confirm technical accuracy and identify any potential discrepancies or risks to the project β’ Supervise onsite startup and/or commissioning of company-supplied equipment β’ Plan, conduct and document onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for company-supplied equipment β’ Ensure all installations meet applicable standards β’ Assist Logistics with timing of all equipment testing β’ Partner with Engineering, Production, and Sales teams on service estimates and parts recommendations β’ Mentor junior technicians as you develop leadership skills β’ Provide emergency support when critical systems go down (rotating on-call schedule)
β’ 4+ years working with UPS, generators, governors, regulators, MV/LV switchgear, or similar power equipment β’ Industry Background: Datacenters, power generation, utilities, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors β’ UPS & Power Distribution equipment β’ Tools: Proficient with multimeters, hand tools, wiring equipment, and soldering β’ Software: Comfortable with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting β’ Driver's License: Valid license with clean driving record (required for travel)
