📋 Description

• Lead the design and ongoing improvement of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple countries • Scope and lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives such as country expansions, M&A integrations, and plan redesigns • Define problems, identify stakeholders, and choose approaches without a fully written brief • Own global vendor and broker relationships, including renewal negotiations • Hold partners accountable to cost and service commitments • Serve as Mixpanel's go-to resource on benefits compliance and monitor regulatory changes • Analyze program cost and utilization data to identify savings and inform annual budgeting • Turn analysis into clear recommendations for leadership • Build benefits education and self-service resources for employees • Apply AI and other tools to improve reporting, analysis, and employee support • Share effective tools and approaches with the wider People team

🎯 Requirements

• Led complex, ambiguous, cross-functional projects independently • Working understanding of benefits and employment compliance frameworks, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR, and international equivalents • Experience managing vendors, brokers, or carriers, including negotiating renewals and holding partners to service commitments • Track record of turning cost and utilization data into actionable recommendations • Comfort adopting new tools, including AI • Strong written and verbal communication • Sound judgment operating with a high degree of independence in a fast-changing, multi-country environment • A degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Experience with global benefits platforms such as Paylocity or Bswift is a bonus • Relevant certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP are a bonus • Experience supporting benefits through an M&A integration or new country entry is a bonus • Familiarity building benefits programs in a high-growth, distributed company is a bonus
