📋 Description

• Own transition of new formulas from bench-top gold-standard samples through plant trials, first production runs, and continuous improvement • Ensure processes transfer effectively to each manufacturer's specific equipment • Review new formulations early to identify equipment or process mismatches • Partner with sensory and R&D teams on site-specific standards and document the rationale • Lead handoff from trial and first production into steady-state production while remaining connected to the SKU and site • Partner with New Product Launch teams to confirm manufacturing equipment and process capabilities • Identify manufacturing capability gaps before product launches • Support maintenance of manufacturing capability information and organization of the manufacturer portfolio • Advise site-facing technical and quality teams using commercialization process and equipment knowledge • Help interpret production drift against sensory and quality targets • Support site audits, including SQF, BRC, and customer audits, by pressure-testing risk assessments and corrective/preventive actions • Flag deviations between documented processes and day-to-day site practices for site-facing quality follow-up • Support root-cause investigations involving out-of-specification results, quality deviations, and ingredient or process failures • Coordinate with manufacturing coverage teams and site-facing quality owners on investigations • Build collaborative relationships with co-manufacturer quality, engineering, and operations teams • Represent RYZE standards clearly while maintaining trust with manufacturing partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree preferred plus 8 years of experience • Experience spanning R&D/formulation scale-up from bench through pilot to first production • Hands-on plant or co-manufacturer support experience • Ingredient-supplier or contract-manufacturing background is a strong plus • Working knowledge of paddle blenders, V-blenders, ribbon blenders, augers, and packaging lines • Experience across food, beverage, or nutritional products • Direct experience with GFSI audits, including SQF and BRC • Experience with food safety and quality documentation • Ability to advise site-facing quality teams without owning day-to-day audit relationships • Ability to build trust-based relationships with manufacturing partners and conduct difficult conversations • Comfortable with variable travel to assigned manufacturing sites • Ability to travel around commercialization and launch milestones rather than primarily serving as an on-call responder
