MN8 is a community-led nonprofit organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, that centers Southeast Asian communities in campaigns to end detention and deportation and to support families impacted by immigration enforcement. MN8 provides direct services and legal casework in collaboration with attorneys and partner organizations, runs advocacy and legislative work, community organizing and base-building, leadership development, reintegration support, and public education. Their work emphasizes restorative, community-centered approaches to defend people facing deportation and to build long-term power and healing for Southeast Asian communities.

📋 Description

• Drive creation and execution of MN8’s strategic project delivery and process improvement capabilities roadmap • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to drive commercial outcomes and manage operational risk • Drive project execution and process improvement workstreams supporting enterprise-wide strategic projects and processes • Manage multiple projects within stakeholder, business, and external constraints • Implement system installations, expansions, modifications, migrations, and business processes • Lead project teams in managing time, resources, skills, budgets, and interrelated tasks • Plan and schedule teams to deliver projects and programs efficiently • Manage risks, anticipate issues, perform risk analysis, and develop contingency plans • Prioritize projects and allocate resources • Oversee stakeholder relationships and organizational collaboration • Facilitate change management plans, process and organizational changes, training requirements, and stakeholder buy-in • Communicate information among project teams, stakeholders, and management • Allocate and track project budgets and financials, including external resources • Apply continuous improvement tools, including Lean Six Sigma • Conduct Lessons Learned reviews and deliver improvement recommendations • Support business integration efforts, including M&A

🎯 Requirements

• University degree, ideally with a focus in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems • 8–10 years of project management experience leading multiple, complex projects • Experience implementing company-wide systems and platforms, such as ERP and EMS • Outstanding managerial and leadership skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build rapport and trust with team members, stakeholders, and executives • Ability to create engaged team dynamics, negotiate trade-offs, and resolve conflicts • Experience in change management • Analytical and detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to adapt workload and schedules to changing priorities • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Knowledge of programming concepts, software development cycles, and associated tools and platforms • In-depth knowledge of program and project plan development, scheduling methodology, waterfall and agile methodologies, program and project metrics, analysis, and status reporting • Experience with MS Project and Power BI required • Experience with Power Automate and Minitab preferred • Experience with M&A integration is a plus
