📋 Description

• Provide and support organizational leadership • Support ADEC’s infrastructure • Coordinate event planning and management • Maintain and enhance ADEC’s financial sustainability • Collaborate with the Board, staff, and membership to lead and support all areas of the organization • Represent ADEC and ensure organizational functions and services focus on its mission • Oversee and coordinate implementation of mission-aligned programs • Work with the Board and staff on programs, strategic planning, and community outreach • Support ADEC committees and volunteers in achieving Board-set goals • Lead and manage staff and contractors • Manage nonprofit fundraising, fund development, membership growth, and financial operations

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent experience in event planning management, membership, and meeting software • Transparent and high-integrity leadership • Ability to oversee and coordinate implementation of programs carrying out the organization’s mission • Successful track record working with a volunteer Board of Directors • Experience working with the Board and staff on programs, strategic planning, and community outreach • Ability to support committees and volunteers • Successful experience leading and managing staff and contractors • Demonstrated success in nonprofit fundraising, fund development, and membership growth • Ability to manage all financial aspects of ADEC • Five or more years of senior nonprofit management and leadership experience or equivalent experience • Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification preferred • Strong ability and desire to support ADEC membership
