📋 Description

• Handle workers' compensation defense cases from initial setup through appeal • Evaluate cases early and regularly, providing clients with options to settle or continue litigation • Collaborate with partners and fellow associates on case strategy • Build and maintain strong relationships with adjusters and clients • Meet a monthly billable target of 220 hours • Generate new client files and pursue productivity and client-development opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Active California Bar license • Minimum of one year of legal experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, or workers’ compensation • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills • Demonstrated job stability without a pattern of frequent job changes • Willingness to learn and follow the firm's approach to case handling, including a conservative approach to billing • Ability to work Pacific Time hours • Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship • Experience handling workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution or appeal (preferred) • Experience in civil litigation or insurance defense, particularly for attorneys interested in transitioning into workers' compensation (preferred) • Knowledge of workers' compensation or civil litigation procedures (preferred) • Strong client-facing communication skills and a collaborative working style (preferred)
