📋 Description

• Originate mortgage loans with a focus on purchase money • Guide members through the mortgage process by determining suitable mortgage products for their needs and financial circumstances • Maintain a robust network of referral sources, including realtors and builders, to drive monthly volume • Counsel members on mortgage options, rates, terms, and programs • Interview loan applicants and prequalify files • Organize application packages for timely processing and regulatory compliance • Implement the credit union’s sales strategies and grow referral opportunities • Refer additional credit union products to help members achieve financial security • Resolve service complaints and maintain member satisfaction • Work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment • Collaborate with credit union employees and external partners • Meet credit union members face-to-face and over the phone • Identify opportunities to build strong business relationships

🎯 Requirements

• At least three (3) years of mortgage sales experience in the real estate community • NMLS license required and must be maintained • Knowledge of conventional loans • Knowledge of secondary market practices • Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills • Strong multi-tasking abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Must be based out of Metro Detroit
