📋 Description

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non Bank territory • Take mortgage loan applications • Conduct preliminary underwriting reviews • Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval • Follow up to secure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing in a timely manner • Solicit loan sales and conduct sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations • Spend at least 50% of work time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Three or more years of experience in mortgage, sales, or real estate • NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z • Ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements • Maintain a satisfactory criminal and credit record • Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies • Working knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors • Familiarity with local, state, and national laws, including zoning ordinances, Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, and energy audit requirements • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze financial information • Ability to perform duties outside the regular place of business • Established referral base within the assigned market
