📋 Description

• Own the strategy and execution of Motive's internal communications program • Keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged during company updates, organizational changes, and major announcements • Lead planning, narrative development, and production for All Hands and company-wide forums • Build and grow internal video communications, including executive updates, milestone recaps, and storytelling content • Evolve internal communication channels, formats, and cadence • Own Slack, intranet, email, and video channels and ensure targeted, timely, and consistent messaging • Draft and refine CEO and leadership communications, talking points, and briefing materials • Partner with Corporate Communications, Legal, and People teams on proactive and reactive communications plans • Align internal and external messaging and ensure employees hear key news before or alongside external audiences • Develop surveys, pulse checks, and forums to measure employee sentiment and communications effectiveness • Advise executives, People teams, and cross-functional leaders on internal messaging and change communications • Manage and mentor internal communications talent and partner with agencies or contractors for video and content production

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or executive communications • Track record of leading internal communications at a high-growth company • Experience producing All Hands and other executive forums, from narrative development through live or recorded delivery • Hands-on experience building video communications and modern, multi-channel employee engagement programs • Experience advising and writing for C-suite leaders • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills • Experience supporting crisis, issues, or change communications with Legal and Corporate Communications • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; advanced degree a plus • Comfort using AI-enabled tools for messaging development and communications analysis • Authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations • Senior-level individual contributor position
