📋 Description

• Advise the Product team on launching new Motive Card features • Negotiate contracts, including customer NDAs, issuer processor agreements, and receivables financing agreements • Support Sales with training and processes to streamline and accelerate the sales cycle • Review and help develop compelling, compliant Marketing content • Collaborate with Finance and Risk to minimize loss, investigate fraud, and create loss-reduction policies and processes • Work cross-functionally with legal peers in privacy, regulatory affairs, IP, and general product counseling on novel issues • Monitor industry developments and help colleagues anticipate emerging issues • Build trust with business partners and serve as a sought-after advisor to the Motive Card business • Report to the AGC, Head of Product

🎯 Requirements

• US-licensed and US-based attorney • Minimum of 6+ years of experience • Significant in-house experience with law firm training • Experience working on emerging fintech products, especially commercial payments; crypto experience is excluded • Ability to explain US financial regulations to engineers and product managers and apply them to real-world products • Comfort making independent decisions amid regulatory or contractual ambiguity • Revenue-enabling mindset with judgment about when to push back • Humble, low-ego approach with commitment to empowering colleagues • AI-first perspective and interest in building and leveraging AI-driven tools • Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations • Employees must be authorized to access Motive products and technology
