📋 Description

• Lead and execute comprehensive security assessments of client information systems • Analyze cybersecurity documentation, collect evidence, and conduct compliance interviews • Evaluate compliance with FISMA, NIST RMF, and FedRAMP standards • Guide cross-functional teams and lead compliance discussions • Author assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation • Perform system and network vulnerability scanning and analysis using automated and manual techniques • Identify, validate, and apply vulnerability remediations, fix procedures, and risk mitigation strategies • Apply security engineering expertise to secure architecture, authentication protocols, applied cryptography, and application security • Engage directly with client stakeholders and provide expert technical guidance • Mentor team members and support secure cloud architecture design • Explain cybersecurity concerns and compliance with standards and frameworks to customers • Perform FedRAMP 20x assessments • Travel for client engagements as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Expert knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST/DoD RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications • Knowledge of secure architecture design, system and network security, authentication protocols, applied cryptography, and application security • Proficiency with Nessus/ACAS, SCC, DISA STIGs/STIG Viewer, NMAP, and Acunetix • At least one advanced industry certification: CISA, CISM, or an advanced equivalent in accordance with A2LA R311 • At least one listed industry certification, including CCNA Security, CCNA Cyber Ops, CySA+, GCIH, GSNA, GCIA, CISA, CISSP or Associate, CSSLP, CISSO, CFR, CASP+ CE, Cloud+, GICSP, or SCYBER • English communication skills, verbal and written • Ability to author original assessment reports, attestations, and technical compliance documentation • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced team environment • Ability to travel up to 25% as required for client engagements • Senior-level applicants must also hold CISSP certification • Experience leading or managing complex information security projects • Knowledge of SDLC as it relates to Information Security and Information Assurance • Successful completion of the FedRAMP Baltimore Cyber Range preferred • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred
