📋 Description

• Support the Field Service Organization in implementing and maintaining mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for government and public safety communications customers • Deploy, optimize, and repair infrastructure, public safety loggers, subscribers, microwaves, computers, servers, and network equipment • Provide technical support and advanced troubleshooting for software-driven electronics and specialized system applications • Provision communication system infrastructure and optimize RF and Broadband architecture, including legacy analog, advanced digital P25, and data infrastructure • Maintain, optimize, test, document, and support complex communication systems • Perform preventative maintenance, trend analysis, and documentation to ensure proper system operation • Develop solutions for difficult technical problems during system maintenance, upgrades, and support issues • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Customer Service, customers, and subcontractor partners • Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments • Maintain server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshoot system/application issues • Provide and present technical training and help integrate new tools and solutions into team operations • Participate in 24/7/365 on-call support for mission-critical public safety systems

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in technology or related field OR related industry certificates • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain necessary security clearance for government contracts • Must successfully pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the CJIS Security Policy • Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S.; employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Exposure to RF systems, wired/wireless communication systems, networking equipment, and IT networks • Knowledge of wired/wireless communications systems, including LAN and WAN • Knowledge of standard telephony, dedicated data circuits, and packet-switching techniques • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access • Knowledge of configuring and testing channel banks, routers, hubs, and switches • Ability to develop and present technical training • Ability to integrate new tools and solutions into team operations • Strong self-management and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and solve customer problems quickly during stressful situations • FCC license and industry certifications such as ETA are a plus • Travel availability of 50-75%
