📋 Description

• Direct and execute all pre-installation, installation, and equipment start-up activities with minimal or no direction • Act as the company liaison with customers by providing status reports, responding to information requests, addressing concerns, and advising on schedule changes • Prepare equipment for process acceptance through testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to meet contract specifications • Diagnose and repair 90% of hardware issues and demonstrate knowledge of software failures on assigned equipment • Document system problems and actions taken before, during, and after installations • Participate in 24-hour on-call support for installed-base equipment problems when requested • Submit performance data, timesheets, field service reports, and travel expense reports accurately and promptly • Train less experienced employees and customer representatives on equipment operation and maintenance • Maintain customer satisfaction while representing company interests • Support maintenance, repair, and equipment upgrades after technical acceptance

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or equivalent education and experience • 2–5 years of experience working on semiconductor equipment • Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, electromechanical, pneumatic, automation, and robotics systems • Proficiency with mechanical drawings and electrical schematics • Proficiency using hand tools, multimeters, and helium leak checkers • Knowledge of high-purity gas supply systems • High level of written and oral communication skills • Ability to travel domestically and internationally more than 75% of the time • Ability to work off-hours, including weekends and shifts of up to 12 hours • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to meet clean-room contamination exposure prevention requirements, including wearing apparatus such as SCBA • Ability to provide 24-hour on-call support when requested
