📋 Description

• Manage and execute customer installation activities within agreed project timeframes • Verify complete system functionality and readiness for software deployment • Perform software updates, system upgrades, data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting • Understand public safety customer environments to ensure product security and reliability • Apply software and IP networking skills to solve problems • Deliver solutions aligned with existing products, standard interfaces, and predefined procedures • Follow corporate guidelines and complete required training, including CJIS compliance • Accurately log billable project hours • Deploy on-premise hardware and equipment for government and municipal projects • Travel 50%-75% depending on project and business needs

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology, or 5+ years of experience deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely • Employer sponsorships for work permit are not available • Proven experience installing, administering, and troubleshooting VMware ESXi v.7+ and/or Red Hat OpenShift • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and later • Experience with Windows Server 2019 and later • Experience with Windows 10 & 11 and Linux • Experience with LAN switches; HP Arista experience is a plus • Experience with SAN; HPE Alletra and Nimble experience is a plus • Basic firewall and router knowledge; Fortinet Fortigate experience is a plus • Server and workstation hardware experience; HPE compute hardware experience is a plus • Windows Active Directory administration, including GPO and DNS • TeamCity experience is a plus • Prior experience deploying, integrating, operating, or administering Public Safety Applications • Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check for CJIS-regulated high-security areas • Willingness to travel 50%-75% • Preferred residence in the Central or Mountain time zone
