📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive West Region Infrastructure LMR ASTRO System supporting the USMC Enterprise LMR system, E911 systems, and MBR radios globally • Manage program personnel and support staff, including engineers, system managers, technologists, cybersecurity leads, customer service managers, quality managers, safety managers, and configuration management personnel • Collaborate with Motorola Sales teams on pre-sale and post-sale opportunities, proposals, pricing, risks, and strategic direction • Oversee program budgets, costs, invoicing, profitability goals, and business operations • Ensure contract requirements, operational levels, DoD change-management processes, cybersecurity compliance, and milestones are met • Lead system lifecycle planning, maintenance, upgrades, integration, testing, implementation, monitoring, equipment repair, asset management, and software-license management • Manage supply-chain and logistics planning, preventative maintenance, change administration, and system currency • Oversee worldwide projects, including system integrations, service projects, expansions, dispatch-center upgrades, and new sites • Approve project schedules, budgets, documents, personnel, equipment ordering, manufacturing, work assignments, contract compliance, ATPs, and SOVTs • Convert completed projects to full-time sustainment support under the program • Develop policies, SOPs, reports, briefings, directives, CDRLs, DEDs, and other program documentation • Serve as the primary point of contact for the USMC system and supporting USMC PMO • Communicate and coordinate with customers, partners, the USMC, other DoD branches, and internal Motorola personnel and leadership • Attend and manage customer calls, meetings, Engineering Change Board processes, requirements reviews, audits, and administrative reviews • Identify critical open issues and direct managers and resources toward resolution • Set KPIs and ensure contractual compliance through auditing • Ensure program plans and goals align with Motorola strategic objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of Project Management experience or military experience • Minimum 5 years of project management experience managing projects of varying complexity and difficulty • U.S. citizenship • Ability to obtain the necessary DoD security clearance • Ability to pass DoD, corporate, and stringent CJIS fingerprint background checks • Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S. • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Ability to travel 35% of the time when required • Experience in executive leadership and management with demonstrable successful outcomes • Experience writing, interpreting, understanding, and administering contracts • Human resources experience, including hiring, personnel management, employee performance goals, and evaluation systems • Supply chain management, logistics planning, execution, and sustainment experience • Experience formulating, administering, executing, and managing large budgets across a large organization and geographic area • Superior internal and external interpersonal communication skills • Strategic planning, customer relations, policy development, and execution skills • Demonstrable project-management success building and working with teams, meeting deliverables and due dates, delegating, and prioritizing work • Excellent professional written communication skills, including reports, briefings, customer deliverables, and other deliverables • Ability to review written work for grammar, formatting, sentence structure, and other requirements • Competency using internal Motorola Solutions systems, Google Suites and applications, Microsoft applications, and general business applications • Knowledge of the Motorola ecosystem is ideal • PMP certification is preferred • Preference given to applicants in the Western Region • Must meet DoD cybersecurity requirements, including IAVA compliance, patch management, vulnerability scanning, and benchmark testing
