📋 Description

• Report to the Regional Services Manager • Manage deployment of complex public safety solutions for Computer-Aided Dispatch, Mobile Computing, Records Management, and Jail Management • Lead and manage deployments for statewide, regional, county, and city public safety jurisdictions • Lead and direct project teams across organizational boundaries • Manage and mentor individual contributors across multiple disciplines throughout all project phases • Drive strategic relationships between internal and external teams • Resolve issues between internal and external groups • Manage project profitability, budgets, and schedules • Establish and maintain communication, risk, mitigation, and quality plans • Approve invoices • Provide system integration quotations and statements of work • Create, distribute, and present project status reports and results • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices with the Project Management Office • Participate in pre-contract evaluation of terms and scope, oral presentations, and customer negotiations • Travel approximately 25–50% within the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of project management experience OR 5+ years of project management experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments • Experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments, including integration with 3rd party products and services • Experience with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies • Prefer experience managing projects for State and Local government agencies in public safety • PMP Certification preferred • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer • Must successfully pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the CJIS Security Policy • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely required • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills • Experience leading and directing professionals across organizational/functional boundaries • Ability to travel 25–50% through the Northeast US • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and make decisions • Self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance and take initiative
