📋 Description

• Work closely with the Project Manager and other Installation Technicians. • Commission DAS equipment at customer job sites. • Troubleshoot new and existing DAS systems. • Mount rack, wall and ceiling electronic DAS components. • Connectorize 50 ohm RF cable and perform sweep tests. • Conduct RF coverage testing and optimization before and after construction. • Perform RF and cabling site surveys. • Use computer skills and IP interfaces with GUI programmable systems. • Wire DC power plants and low-voltage circuits. • Perform RF cable sweep, PIM and fiber testing. • Complete job-related documentation and record keeping. • Keep the customer and company informed of installation progress.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma, or an GED, Technical Certificate, Associates, or an Bachelor's degree required. • Advance experience with DAS installations required. • Commissioning and troubleshooting DAS wireless equipment. • Experience with Outdoor and Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, DC Power Cable and related components. • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 72 and 1221 standards. • Ability to install fiber optical cables, with a strong understanding of DAS and related services. • Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts and rooftops utilizing proper fall protection. • Knowledge of terminology used in the in-building Distributed Antenna System industry. • Understanding of contract scope, requirements, project management and integration processes. • Finger and wrist dexterity and hand/eye coordination. • Nice Level 1 certification. • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint. • Valid driver's license. • Reliable transportation. • Must be willing and able to travel regionally up to 60%. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available. • Advanced experience with DAS installations required.
