• Engage customers to address identified needs • Educate key stakeholders about oncology products • Communicate with the broader oncology community • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals within the territory • Work with territory team members to attain or exceed sales goals for the geography • Meet key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers • Build business relationships and trust to uncover and comprehend customer needs • Use approved resources and messaging to communicate a patient-centered rationale for oncology products in indicated uses • Apply knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines for different tumors and diseases • Analyze trends in complex buying environments, including oncology group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies • Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed across outpatient and inpatient infusion settings, hospital contracts, and GPO contracts • Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with the local team and Oncology Customer Team Leader • Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and needs • Ensure a consistent customer experience across company divisions and functional areas • Share key learnings and collaborate with the customer team, including Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, and Medicare Account Executive • Travel to visit customers in person and attend national sales meetings and industry conferences
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience • Equivalent experience may include professional sales experience, healthcare/scientific work experience with oncology experience strongly preferred, professional marketing experience, or military experience • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle • Ability to travel as required, including overnight travel of 10–15% • Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district • 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers preferred • Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience preferred • Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role • Account Management, Immuno-Oncology Sales, Nursing Education, Oncology, Oncology Care, Oncology Nursing, Oncology Research, Oncology Sales, and Sales skills preferred • No visa sponsorship
