📋 Description

• Own the construction and completion of the Audit Plan for assigned Technology Domain areas • Gather domain knowledge and demonstrate understanding in internal meetings and interactions with Audit Directors • Lead audit scoping meetings and contribute to audit discussions • Establish regular communications with Technology management to monitor assigned technology environments • Ensure audit teams complete audit work and draft/final reports on time • Manage report review processes and fieldwork deadlines, including risk-based rationale for extensions • Understand existing and emerging risks within assigned domains and remain current on emerging technologies • Drive continuous auditing and monitoring activities • Manage co-sourced relationships supporting audit plan completion • Support the department’s technology-domain risk assessment process • Consult with business stakeholders on risk and control matters, audit findings, and control enhancements • Lead audit teams in using data analytics throughout the audit process • Support and drive the department’s strategic objectives • Deliver clear, concise, and well-written audit reports for Bank management • Prepare for and lead management and internal department meetings • Collaborate with first- and second-line risk groups • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Build partnerships with business stakeholders and audit team members • Interact with regulators during examinations and MRA/MRIA validations • Coach, mentor, and oversee junior audit team members • Participate in staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations for direct reports • Report to an Audit Director and independently execute high-quality, timely assurance services with minimal oversight

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern technology infrastructure, including servers, databases, network and storage infrastructure, cloud technology, middleware/integration services, modern development and delivery practices, and emerging technologies used by financial services organizations • Knowledge of core technology services and operations and related risks and controls, including data center operations, change, incident, problem and asset management, enterprise architecture, software engineering, business continuity, and operational resilience • Working knowledge of technology risk management frameworks such as CRI, ITIL 4, and COBIT • Understanding of supervisory expectations and regulations specific to technology risk management, including FFIEC IT Handbooks, NYSDFS NYCRR 500, and Fed SR-Letters • Technology risk management, IT Audit, or cybersecurity risk management certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CCSK • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, Technology, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related technical field • 10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years of supervisory/managerial experience • Related certifications such as CISA or similar • Strong judgment, political astuteness, and sensitivity to cultural diversity • Strong project management and interpersonal skills • Effective negotiation skills and proactive communication approach • Articulate and effective oral and written communication • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and coach others
