📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to start up, commission, safely troubleshoot, and repair Munters Data Center equipment • Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems • Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property • Respond promptly to customer and management service requests • Provide customer training on Munters equipment • Provide technical feedback using detailed field service reports • Coordinate other trades and services while onsite for start-up commissioning • Provide instant-response customer service as part of the Field Service team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the mechanical field, specifically HVAC • Ability to travel up to 90% across the USA by plane and car • Extensive knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and ability to diagnose electrical issues and record data • Training in Arc flash, lockout/tagout, and other safety requirements • Knowledge and use of PPE associated with electrical safety • Extensive refrigeration knowledge • Ability to pressure test, evacuate, and charge systems independently • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration problems • Proficiency in brazing and soldering • Universal refrigeration card • Extensive controls knowledge, including troubleshooting, programming, or downloading to control systems • Understanding of PLCs and ability to work with all types of platforms • Ability to access PLC information, adjust PLCs, and connect with a computer to communicate and make changes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Ability to communicate with site personnel, Sales PM, Service Manager, and Technical Support personnel • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 75 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift • Close visual acuity for data analysis, computer terminals, and extensive reading • Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety boots, hard hats, and hearing protection • Ability to be away from home for several days at a time • Willingness to take on-call duties • Willingness to occasionally work weekends and/or holidays • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Willingness and ability to work six feet or more above the ground • Offers of employment are contingent on a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable
