📋 Description

• Define user-centered discovery, activation, and monetization experiences across product journeys, upgrade flows, pricing surfaces, and lifecycle touchpoints • Work from concept to production, delivering UX, visual design, and prototypes • Use behavioral data, funnel metrics, experiment results, and user signals to inform design decisions • Design and lead experiments across acquisition, activation, and expansion funnels • Establish reusable growth patterns in Mural’s design system • Partner with engineers on accurate, high-quality implementation • Directly manage one to three designers through 1:1s, goal-setting, feedback, and career support • Balance individual-contributor design work with people leadership • Mentor designers working on growth-adjacent surfaces • Lead workshops and working sessions on pricing, packaging, onboarding, and upgrade opportunities • Collaborate with product, research, and data science to define success metrics, shape hypotheses, and interpret outcomes • Advocate for user trust as a growth asset • Share growth approaches with design peers through critique and collaboration • Contribute to design excellence where growth and monetization intersect with core product experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience working on complex applications, ideally in PLG, SaaS, or self-serve products • 8+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity tools, collaboration software, or product-led growth environments • Track record of leading growth, monetization, or conversion-focused design work • Experience designing in-product discovery, onboarding, sign-up, or activation flows • Experience partnering with product and data teams to interpret behavioral insights, experiment results, or funnel metrics • Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, including spacing, motion, hierarchy, and clarity • Ability to design within systems and understand how decisions cascade across surfaces and journeys • Experience mentoring or leading other designers • Strong communication skills • Comfort working in fast-moving, experiment-driven environments • Curiosity and proactive problem solving, including exploring edge cases and anticipating constraints • Empathy for first-time users and sensitivity to trust, motivation, and cognitive load • Experience with pricing architecture, packaging strategy, or monetization model design is a plus • Experience mapping and designing activation journeys is a plus • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools and vibe coding is a plus • Background in organic acquisition or activation funnels at scale is a plus • Familiarity with AI-assisted experiences or contextual intelligence in growth flows is a plus • Experience working with data science teams on experimentation frameworks or causal inference is a plus • Portfolio link required • Legal authorization to work in the country of residence required
