📋 Description

• Prepare mortgage insurance claims on all agencies or investor-acquired properties. • Reconcile all advances included in claims. • Validate necessary claim-supporting documents. • Maintain records and management reports regarding daily production. • Conduct internal quality control audits of post-claim activities. • Identify trends requiring additional supervisor-led training. • Complete quality assurance audits before claim submission. • Update appropriate workstations for claim payments. • Assist with post-claim agency/client demands. • Follow up on and track payment of filed claims. • Conduct research to complete daily tasks and resolve missing-document or agency inquiries. • Complete task queues and update internal system notes. • Perform other assigned duties.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. • 4 - 5 years of experience in default mortgage servicing and/or mortgage insurance claim and/or the legal field. • Strong knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and understanding of claims process. • Strong knowledge of foreclosure process and appropriate guidelines. • LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience. • Ability to manage time and priorities. • Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues. • Ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines. • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and by telephone. • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Excel and Word. • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. • Quiet, private place in the home. • High-speed internet connection with minimum network download speed of 25 megabits per second (MBPS) and minimum network upload speed of 10 MBPS. • Ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and work early, late, or weekend hours as needed. • Overtime required as necessary.
