📋 Description

• Serve as the core operational bridge between Ollie and its manufacturing partners • Manage strategic relationships and daily operations at co-manufacturing sites • Conduct contract negotiations, measure and track KPIs, perform regular performance reviews, and drive process improvements • Align procurement, inventory, quality, and engineering priorities with manufacturing partner operations • Ensure inventory availability and production capacity support subscription growth and operational goals • Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety, human-grade, and regulatory compliance • Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard new contract manufacturing facilities • Collaborate with engineering leadership on line scaling, technical throughput improvements, and yield optimization • Oversee unit economics, standard costs, price variances, and vendor contracts • Manage commercialization project scope, timelines, deliverables, goals, budgets, and sourcing options • Establish, track, and report manufacturing KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, co-pack management, or plant operations within the food or pet food industry • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating terms with, and onboarding new manufacturing partners • Experience managing manufacturing capacity, production planning, and manufacturing partner performance against operational KPIs • Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams with external plant management • Strong technical understanding of food safety, HACCP, and human-grade food manufacturing processes • Analytical problem-solving skills proficient with ERP systems, supply planning, and yield metrics • Willingness to travel 25–30% for plant visits, audits, and partner onboarding initiatives • Experience in pet food manufacturing and/or a fast-paced, high-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand is strongly preferred
