📋 Description

• Assist with Medical Affairs communications internally and externally to Myomo, including internal departments, medical offices, and therapy clinics • Communicate with physicians and medical offices to collect required documentation demonstrating medical necessity for Myomo products • Engage with patients throughout the insurance process to obtain vital information • Facilitate scheduling appointments with providers • Update patient status in the pipeline • Verify patients’ insurance coverage • Manage an appropriate caseload of patient candidates in the insurance pipeline • Ensure candidates complete necessary paperwork promptly • Connect with candidates for signatures on special authorization forms when required • Attend Medical Affairs and company meetings • Perform other administrative assistance required by management

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates located in either Central or Mountain time zones • 4+ years of administrative experience in a medical office setting • Background reading or understanding medical records and insurance documents • General knowledge of the health insurance landscape and prior authorization process, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial insurance • Comfort with MS Office, email, electronic medical records (EMR), or billing software • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Ability to meet deadlines with specified time constraints • Ability to work effectively independently and as a teammate • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
