📋 Description

• Perform systems analysis and consult with users and stakeholders to determine software and system functional specifications • Support, enhance, design, build, configure, maintain, and implement applications and complex system changes • Resolve complex application, database, hardware, and system issues • Support application development project functional specifications • Manage IT project initiatives, planning activities, and small and large projects • Lead project scoping, resource management, time management, execution, and go-live activities • Act as a mentor to peers and promote cross-training, coaching, and service excellence • Respond to technical assistance requests according to incident and request management guidelines • Provide quality status updates to stakeholders through communication tools and the service management tool • Manage vendor relationships and accountability for SLA and project-scope deliverables • Establish and maintain stakeholder and operational-owner partnerships • Provide post-go-live support documentation to supporting team members • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues independently or escalate to appropriate resources • Document, review, and update configuration changes in accordance with ITIL standards and departmental processes • Report safety-related incidents and comply with applicable regulations, company policies, mandatory training, and safety requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or closely related field, or 7 years of experience • 7+ years of Healthcare IT Analyst experience • 7+ years of experience in system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance • 7+ years of experience with process improvement, project planning/work breakdown, or workflow management • 7+ years of experience working in EMR, ERP, or other healthcare applications • 5+ years of experience mitigating issues by updating, modifying, configuring, and evaluating production and non-production systems • 7+ years of application support experience, including drafting, reviewing, and approving application changes and documentation • 7+ years of experience providing resolutions using Incident Management and Change Management processes in line with ITIL Guidelines • Knowledge of healthcare business operations, departments, and processes • Experience with database and application software systems in a healthcare environment • Experience leading small projects, including scoping, time management, and execution • Cerner Fundamentals required within 6 months of hire for EHR application support of Clinical and Revenue Cycle applications • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system, hardware, database, and application issues • Ability to create and implement effective solutions independently • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Call required as a subject matter expert; physical response may not be necessary • Master's Degree preferred • Two professional certifications preferred • ITIL v3 or higher Foundation preferred
