• Provide field support on projects from pre-IFA through construction to post-construction • Coordinate on-site with the Projects team and meet with the Project Lead, Supervisor/Superintendent, and Facility Engineer to determine execution tasks • Walk down P&IDs to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies • Conduct project walk downs and sign off mechanical completions • Complete commissioning, startup, and Operations turnover forms • Provide engineering technical support and constructability feedback to Operations • Track and manage RFIs and communicate design changes to Operations • Assist procurement by identifying vendor support, quotes, startup spares, and critical spares • Create and manage MOCs across all operating phases and assign tasks • Audit PHAs and PPRs to ensure issues are addressed before equipment startup • Evaluate field changes, including PCRs, RFIs, and ECARs, for PHA impacts • Develop commissioning plans, startup plans, and Preventative Maintenance for Operations • Ensure documentation flow requirements are complete before turnover • Track punch lists and outstanding work items through completion • Coordinate with Automation to provide sufficient information, including the FCO schedule • Verify operator-adjustable set-points with Board Operators and Automation Engineers • Mark up drawings, assist with post-startup troubleshooting, and complete project closeout requirements as needed
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering and two years of experience; or a minimum of five (5) years of Oil and Gas Industry experience may be considered • Minimum of one (1) year experience working in North Slope Alaska preferred • Familiarity with North Slope Alaska operating facilities, including drill sites, preferred • Prior experience living or working in an Arctic or cold weather environment preferred • Basic engineering skills; ability to read basic P&IDs and perform walk downs • Basic knowledge of Industry Codes, Standards, and Recommended Practices • Ability to work independently without direct field supervision • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments in a changing environment • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in tight, noisy, dimly lit areas • Willingness and ability to communicate with Operators, Project Leads, Facility Engineers, and other team members • Ability to navigate computer data tools including SAP and KMS • Ability to drive and work outside in a cold-weather Arctic environment within company safety policy • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply algebra and geometry • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and current AutoCAD design software • Fit-for-duty test must be successfully completed before starting the assignment
