📋 Description

• Install and service instrumentation with minimum direct supervision • Provide follow-up service by calling customers who recently received service • Maintain car stock inventory, test equipment, tools, and technical data • Complete service documentation in accordance with GMP requirements • Maintain expense levels within established field-service travel and site-visit guidelines • Report quality-control and technical problems to the Service Center and System Support Engineering Manager • Maintain and use the company vehicle according to Corporate fleet policy • Interface with departments and managers to resolve customer problems • Provide customers with outstanding quality service according to BD standards • Manage company-issued credit cards, travel advances, company vehicle, and spare and repair parts • Promote positive customer relations through professional appearance, ethical behavior, maturity, and judgment • Support a territory including Philadelphia, Upstate New York, New Jersey, and the New York Metro Area

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma • Minimum of 3 years’ experience fixing instruments or components • Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record • Prior Field Service Engineer experience • Previous experience fixing medical device instruments • Previous customer interfacing role • Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Word and Excel • Familiarity with recent Mac and PC operating systems • Ability to travel 60%, including 1–2 overnight stays per week
