📋 Description

• Own and scale the cloud infrastructure behind Nango's open-source platform, including compute, networking, and the data layer • Lead BYOC deployments and turn customer-cloud deployments into a scalable product with provisioning, upgrades, and observability • Operationalize and productize IaC and GitOps foundations • Define meaningful SLOs and establish a trusted incident process • Lead the data layer, including Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse at growing scale • Own the infrastructure side of security and compliance, including SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise security reviews • Shape the roadmap and company strategy through high ownership of key decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles • Proven ability to run high-traffic systems in production • Deep production Kubernetes experience • Experience operating software in environments you don't control: BYOC, single-tenant, on-prem, or air-gapped • Deep AWS fluency; exposure to GCP and Azure helps • Terraform experience, including reusable modules, safe state management, and multi-account topologies • Strong database expertise, especially Postgres, including performance work, migrations under load, and replication • Experience with SOC 2 or ISO audits, penetration tests, and security reviews • Product mindset and developer empathy • TypeScript and Node experience • Strong communication, proactivity, and reliability in a remote-first environment • Pragmatic, positive, low-ego approach • Startup-ready, autonomous, ownership-driven, and able to navigate ambiguity • Based in North America, LATAM, or Europe
