📋 Description

• Own, operate and evolve the Cloud and Kubernetes based Platform • Continuously improve infrastructure security, reliability, cost efficiency and performance • Champion standards and drive initiatives to promote uniformisation and eliminate duplication • Collaborate with Product teams to enable them to build and own their services • Work with SRE and DevEx Platform teams to create a coherent, quality Platform • Enable self-service and agentic workflow patterns supporting a Build it - Own it model • Build tooling and AI-powered integrations that reduce the cognitive load of complex infrastructure operations • Support systems for a globally distributed Engineering organisation • Execute, automate and support operational tasks on complex, mission-critical systems • Architect, design and implement simple, maintainable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Extremely experienced in Kubernetes, containerisation and AWS cloud • Proven track record running Kubernetes and cloud-based production SaaS systems at scale • Deep understanding of networking and production-level service meshes and gateways • Strong operational and troubleshooting skills with Kubernetes, databases, messaging systems and storage layers • Proficiency in Python and Golang, preferably demonstrated through infrastructure tooling, Kubernetes operators or control plane components • Highly performant CI/CD practices supportive of agentic workflows • Ability and desire to design, lead, influence and deliver ambitious technical roadmaps • Nice to have: management of large Kubernetes-cluster fleets with lifecycle management tools such as CAPI or Rancher • Nice to have: production usage of HashiCorp Vault or similar secret-management systems • Nice to have: GCP and Azure knowledge
