📋 Description

• Proactively source new locum tenens opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research • Identify and engage key decision-makers (e.g., medical directors, practice managers, HR leaders, credentialing teams) • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities • Conduct initial needs assessments to understand facility staffing gaps and timelines • Collaborate with recruiters and account managers to align candidates with client needs • Track all activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM (e.g. Phenom, Workday) • Stay informed on market trends, specialty demand, and competitive landscape • Support contract negotiations and handoff to account management when appropriate • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sourcing and pipeline generation targets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field) • 1-3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or healthcare staffing (locum tenens experience strongly preferred) • Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead generation • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
