📋 Description

• Deliver timely data support to Lab Operations teams and unblock production issues • Improve patient results turnaround times • Apply statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets and diagnose operational issues • Perform exploratory data analysis, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement • Design and implement automated solutions for recurring data analysis and production support workflows • Extract, transform, and analyze data to generate actionable insights • Document analytical processes, best practices, and insights • Develop and optimize scalable data retrieval solutions for large and complex datasets • Learn operational efficiencies from technologies and solutions developed by other DSPE teams • Train and coach junior team members • Collaborate with Lab Operations and Product teams on process issues, root cause analysis, and product support • Represent the DSPE team in stakeholder meetings • Escalate encountered issues to other DSPE teams

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Operational Research, or related fields • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as CLIA and/or FDA compliant settings • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, extraction, and querying in production support roles • Working knowledge of diagnostic laboratory business processes and requirements • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques • Proficiency in Python and SQL development • Working knowledge of Snowflake and cloud technologies • Understanding of hypothesis testing, central limit theorem, time series analysis, anomaly detection, and regression modeling • Good documentation practices and coding style • Experience with GitHub or GitLab • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and integrity
