📋 Description

• Provide maternity leave coverage as a temporary member of Natera's Finance organization • Monitor, identify, and communicate financial expense performance to business partners • Review and approve expense requisitions and flag items outside budget parameters • Develop departmental financial and project expense benchmarks and reporting • Create ad-hoc analyses and business forecasts • Support the accounting close process and audit reporting • Design and implement scalable processes and procedures for reporting key business metrics • Identify and drive cost reduction and process improvement projects • Collaborate with all functional groups to meet financial and corporate goals • Handle paper and electronic Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA and Natera policy • Complete required privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days and maintain required training status

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VBA macros built from scratch, and Lookup functions • Strong financial systems and business application skills, including database applications; QlikView preferred • Working knowledge of GAAP • Strong analytical skills focused on solving moderate to complex financial issues • Experience supporting an R&D or Engineering organization preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects, interdependencies, and potential risks • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information • Collaborative work style and ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels • Ability to complete required HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire • Must maintain current status on all Natera training requirements
