📋 Description

• Oversee, develop, and be accountable for an Accounts Receivable line of business for ambulatory surgery centers • Lead a POD team structure of 5–15 individuals onshore and partner with offshore leadership and PDO teams • Manage responsibility for $2–$3 million in revenue • Lead, develop, and assist A/R Representatives and Account Performance Managers with client account performance • Create onboarding and training frameworks with Learning and Development and ensure execution • Develop inexperienced or underperforming employees through feedback and coaching • Monitor performance through department KPIs and hold the team accountable • Lead employee one-to-one and team meetings • Review and analyze reports and data with analytics and Account Performance Managers • Identify denial trends, report global payer issues, and implement recovery plans • Provide expertise on billing policies, state guidelines, reimbursement analysis, challenging accounts, and claims • Maintain knowledge of client-specific statements of work • Establish and evaluate A/R policies, procedures, and best practices • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and respond to inquiries • Conduct regular client interactions via email and conference calls • Ensure accurate and high-quality preparation, analysis, and presentation of client deliverables • Identify potential client performance problems and implement preventive plans • Help A/R team members meet and exceed goals and provide feedback to client services

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical A/R, with at least 1 year in a Supervisory role • 3+ years of A/R and claims experience in the healthcare industry • Strong analytic skills and proven success leading process improvement initiatives and project management • Advanced knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Private Pay, Liability, and Worker’s Compensation requirements and procedures • Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology • Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality policies • Advanced knowledge of the revenue cycle • Experience with ASC billing preferred • Epic experience strongly preferred • Experience creating and delivering client-facing content and client presentations • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and grow a team • Successful track record of driving results • Ability to travel to company offices, key company events, and industry events
