📋 Description

• Automation and reliability of NBCU’s Live sources • Delivery of 200+ NBC and Telemundo stations and live events • Build automation solutions to deploy and maintain applications • Work on high-visibility projects • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors • Develop Infrastructure as Code • Participate in troubleshooting activities • Analyze current technology and develop improvement processes • Develop robust CI/CD pipelines • Participate in an on-call rotation for L2 support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related experience • 5+ years of prior DevOps experience or equivalent • Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration • IP networking and interfacing with cloud-based networks • Experience designing and delivering cloud hosted services in (e.g., AWS, GCP or Azure) • Comfortable managing code with Git and Git CLI • Working knowledge of Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible and Chef • Working knowledge of scripting languages such Python, Bash, JavaScript, JSON, XML and YML • Experience with developing and deploying containerized systems, Kubernetes, docker • Experience with CI/CD build and deployment practices • Familiar with cyber security best practices
