📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain web and back-end software solutions • Mentor less experienced team members • Coordinate and drive projects • Manage outage and emergency situations with development and production staff • Translate business requirements and wireframes into architecture and components • Convert technical requirements into solution designs • Implement, test, and deliver solutions • Create and maintain solution documentation • Identify, triage, and independently or collaboratively resolve errors and defects • Estimate complexity and divide project tasks • Perform code reviews and champion best practices and standards • Work with internal stakeholders to determine business requirements and priorities • Assist with workflow planning, design, development, testing, and delivery • Research and evaluate potential vendors and monitor technologies, pricing, and applicability • Serve as primary contact for key applications and a knowledge resource for production and development staff • Participate in disaster recovery planning and preparation • Complete administrative tasks and support company goals and values • Build rapport with associates and treat others with respect and consideration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related work experience • 8+ years of relevant job experience, preferred in a bank setting • Experience developing automation solutions using Python • Experience writing clean and semantic SQL • Solid understanding of core web, browser, and styling concepts • Experience writing clean and semantic HTML and CSS • Experience interfacing with enterprise systems via RESTful APIs and standard data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP) • Experience with performance and optimization problems and ability to diagnose and prevent them • Solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models • Experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline • Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures and SDLC pipelines • Familiarity with Agile methodology • Ability to work overtime as necessary • Ability to travel 5% to 10% of the time • Must maintain knowledge of and comply with BSA, OFAC, bank regulations, policies, and procedures • Advanced degree or certification related to the field (desired) • 10+ years of relevant job experience (desired) • Experience with React (desired) • Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (desired) • Experience with vendor partnerships and complex system issue resolution (desired) • Experience in the FinTech space (desired) • Prior leadership experience (desired)
