📋 Description

• Lead technical scoping and requirements-gathering conversations with clients during the planning phase • Facilitate the Project Profitability Model process to establish project objectives, technical requirements, and level of effort • Assist in drafting Statements of Work, including scope, deliverables, and responsibilities • Participate in client meetings alongside Business Development Managers to build tailored proposals • Coordinate with Project Managers on action plans, tasks, and ownership • Execute or oversee technical project-management tasks, including access requests, credential management, asset deployment, and sensor whitelisting • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during project execution • Serve as a client point of contact for critical or urgent findings and testing notifications • Assume Project Manager duties when no PM is assigned, including client follow-up, timesheet review, and project close-out • Review and approve reports before client delivery in partnership with the assigned Director • Serve as a subject matter expert on selected projects, clients, or technical fields • Lead delivery of final reports and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery • Maintain billable utilization at or below 25% when staffed as a regular consultant • Line-manage assigned Security Consultants through weekly check-ins and monthly one-on-ones • Mentor consultants and support their professional development and job satisfaction • Address consultant concerns and gather feedback for annual performance reviews • Strengthen client relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and support business growth • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients • Collaborate with Directors on strategic initiatives and absorb day-to-day scoping, delivery-support, and consultant-management responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in offensive security services, with substantial hands-on delivery experience across client engagements • Prior experience leading technical scoping, project coordination, or informal team leadership • Strong technical background in at least one offensive security service line, including application security, red team, mobile security, security architecture, ICS/OT/SCADA, or SDL • Working familiarity across other offensive security disciplines • Ability to translate technical findings into client-ready recommendations • Experience supporting or participating in the sales process, including scoping calls and level-of-effort estimation, preferred • Strong client-facing communication skills • Ability to balance hands-on consulting work with scoping, sales support, and team-management responsibilities • Effective cross-functional collaboration with Directors, Project Managers, BDMs, and Security Consultants • Sound judgment in escalating critical findings and managing client-facing risk conversations • Ability to mentor consultants and provide feedback through structured one-on-ones and performance reviews • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience • Industry certifications preferred: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent offensive security credentials • Willingness to travel approximately 25% for client engagements
