• Develop and implement construction workforce development, training, upskilling, and career progression programs • Work with contractors, training providers, and industry partners to identify workforce needs and develop effective training solutions • Apply construction field experience to ensure programs reflect industry realities and needs • Collaborate with NCCER’s accredited network to understand market training and workforce development needs • Support organizational growth, sales, and marketing strategies related to workforce development • Partner with Pearson’s sales and marketing teams to support growth strategies and customer needs • Build relationships with contractors, industry associations, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and other NCCER stakeholders • Promote industry credentials, structured training, and lifelong learning for construction craft professionals • Use workforce and industry data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities • Monitor industry and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and recommendations • Support NCCER committees, accreditation activities, and workforce development cases as needed • Perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, construction training, workforce development, or a related field • Hands-on construction field leadership experience as a foreman, superintendent, or similar role • Proven experience building or implementing construction training programs that support workforce development and career growth • Strong understanding of construction workforce needs, craft training, skills development, and career progression • Experience with upskilling, apprenticeship, assessment, or career pathway programs • Experience working with contractors and building partnerships across industry, education, and workforce organizations • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with employees, leadership, and external partners • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce • Experience with learning management, assessment, testing, or similar workforce development platforms is preferred
