📋 Description

• Execute day-to-day transportation security operations across US shipment lanes • Ensure secure handling, packaging, and movement of high-value assets from origin handover through final delivery • Monitor active US shipments using GPS tracking, geofencing, and monitoring platforms • Conduct pre-shipment security checks against NGSCS standards • Oversee handover and transfer points and enforce chain of custody protocols • Maintain shipment logs, operational records, and chain of custody documentation • Conduct route security assessments and identify vulnerabilities and high-risk segments • Assess carrier and last-mile provider security practices • Support evaluation of new carriers and routes with field intelligence • Identify emerging route risks and recommend mitigations • Serve as first operational responder to theft, loss, diversion, tampering, and chain of custody incidents • Coordinate incident response with carriers, logistics partners, and internal NGSCS stakeholders • Document incidents and support investigations and post-incident reviews • Escalate complex or high-severity incidents to the USA Regional Transportation Security Manager • Engage carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile providers to enforce NGSCS requirements • Identify compliance gaps and drive corrective action • Support onboarding of new transportation partners • Provide operational updates and field intelligence to the USA Regional Transportation Security Manager • Contribute to US transportation security procedures and continuous improvement • Support regional reporting on performance, risks, and incident trends

🎯 Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in transportation security, logistics security, or in-transit supply chain operations • Strong operational background executing security controls across complex, multi-leg transportation movements • Experience conducting route assessments, carrier security evaluations, or field-based compliance checks • Experience responding to in-transit security incidents, including immediate coordination and post-incident documentation • Strong discipline around chain of custody documentation and operational records • Ability to operate independently in the field with situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure • Good communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external logistics partners • Regular travel across the United States required • Immediate response and availability may be required outside standard working hours • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility • Added bonus: experience in high-value or critical infrastructure transportation security • Added bonus: background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security with a field operations focus • Added bonus: familiarity with TAPA TSR or equivalent transportation security standards • Added bonus: familiarity with GPS tracking, geofencing, real-time shipment monitoring platforms, and tamper-evident sealing • Added bonus: experience operating across multiple US states or regions
