📋 Description

• Prepare monthly financial reports for NEO’s Project Partnership projects, including budget-to-actuals, general ledger detail, encumbrance reports, and other schedules • Support monthly financial reporting packages for Collaborative Funds and Strategic Partnership projects • Create ad hoc financial reports for programs and departments • Update grant record data in NetSuite weekly • Support interim and final financial grant reports for funders • Prepare monthly grant reporting packages for PJP Projects • Prepare journal entries to reclassify grant expenses and track grant spenddown • Support grant reconciliation, including verifying record status and grant spend-down • Support periodic budget modifications and annual budgeting for PJP projects • Schedule budget meetings for departments and program areas • Compile budget data and provide analysis • Upload and maintain program and department budgets in NetSuite • Analyze monthly revenue re-projections with program staff • Refresh tools to monitor budget versus actuals and assess risk • Assist with monthly allocation journal entries and compile benefits summary reports • Ensure revenue and expenses are correctly coded • Review dimensional coding and prepare correcting GL journal entries • Gather timesheet data and update employee records in NetSuite • Maintain accurate coding in NetSuite and ensure synchronization with Salesforce • Support audits and 990 schedules • Monitor net asset balances and support cash flow risk controls • Provide FP&A team coverage and backup • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Director of FP&A and CFO

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance or a Bachelor’s combined with relevant work experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance required • At least 2-3 years of budgeting and financial reporting experience required • High proficiency in Excel required • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices required, preferably in the nonprofit context • Knowledge of nonprofit grant accounting and reporting (pre & post award) preferred • Prior experience or knowledge of nonprofit grants management • Comfortable working independently and managing competing deadlines • Detail-oriented ability to work with financial data, spot trends, and ensure accuracy • Strong analytical skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects successfully while maintaining collaborative relationships with other departments • Availability during working collaboration hours 10a-4p EST
