📋 Description
• Serve as front-line support for the Patient Connection Center within Piedmont Healthcare • Review accounts for hospital services to ensure completeness prior to patient arrival • Verify patient insurance • Confirm benefits • Determine authorization requirements • Initiate and obtain pre-certification or authorization • Create estimates to determine pre-service patient liability
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required • 1 year of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related experience in clerical accounting/finance required • 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred • Prior Epic experience preferred • Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred • No licenses or certifications required
