📋 Description

• Maintain the stability, scalability, and security of NerdWallet’s technology infrastructure • Design, configure, and maintain corporate identity, endpoint management, security, networking, and cloud platforms • Administer Okta identity infrastructure, including SSO, authentication, and access controls • Automate user, device, and application onboarding and offboarding • Maintain networks, servers, firewalls, applications, and AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services • Manage and configure Jamf and Intune endpoint environments, including security policies, patching, and vulnerability remediation • Enforce SOX auditing and compliance across IT infrastructure processes and procedures • Build IT operations automation using code and no-code tools • Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to reduce operational burden and improve decision-making • Evaluate and adopt emerging identity, endpoint security, and infrastructure technologies • Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and end-user guides • Collaborate with Security, DevOps, HR, and other teams on infrastructure improvements • Assist IT leadership with special projects involving sensitive data, internal investigations, or strict confidentiality • Provide strategic guidance to peers and management on infrastructure initiatives • Report to the Manager, IT

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience • More than 1 year of experience with network troubleshooting in an enterprise environment • Proficiency with network infrastructure and troubleshooting • AWS experience • Experience supporting environments with at least 1,000 employees • Enterprise-scale experience with IdP/SSO concepts, including SAML and OAuth • Experience with SCIM/JIT provisioning and Okta platform administration • MDM platform administration experience with Jamf and Intune • Understanding of least privilege, secure design, and data protection • Experience with automation using Okta Workflows, webhooks, APIs, AWS Lambda/Cloud Functions, Python, Bash/ZSH, and PowerShell • Experience with Terraform and Git/GitHub • Understanding of IaaS, public cloud, and cloud platform administration • Strong technical verbal and written skills • Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation • Ability to build and complete project plans without oversight • Experience with change management and defining team processes, procedures, and best practices • Any of the following are a plus: scaling IT systems through organizational growth or M&A; AI tools or AI-assisted approaches; SOX controls and NIST/ISO standards; IT certifications
