📋 Description

• Maintain the stability, scalability, and security of NerdWallet’s technology infrastructure • Design, configure, and maintain corporate identity, endpoint management, security, networking, and cloud platforms • Administer Okta identity platform, including SSO, authentication, and access controls • Automate user lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding users, devices, and application access • Maintain networks, servers, firewalls, applications, and cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Manage and configure endpoints using Jamf and Intune, including security policy, patching, and vulnerability remediation • Enforce SOX auditing and compliance across IT infrastructure processes and procedures • Build and expand IT operations automation using code and no-code tools • Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to reduce operational burden and improve decision-making • Evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and end-user guides • Collaborate with Security, DevOps, HR, and other teams on infrastructure improvements • Assist IT leadership with special projects involving sensitive data, internal investigations, or strict confidentiality • Provide strategic guidance to peers and management on infrastructure-related initiatives • Report to the Manager, IT

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Proficiency with network infrastructure and troubleshooting • AWS experience • Enterprise-scale experience with IdP/SSO concepts (SAML/OAuth), provisioning (SCIM/JIT), and Okta administration • MDM platform administration experience with Jamf and Intune • Functional understanding of security principles, including least privilege, secure design, and data protection • Experience with automation using code and no-code tools, including Okta Workflows, webhooks, APIs, AWS Lambda/Cloud Functions, Python, Bash/ZSH, and PowerShell • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform • Version control experience with Git and GitHub • Understanding of cloud concepts, IaaS, public cloud, and platform administration • Strong technical verbal and written skills • Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation • Ability to build a project plan and carry it to completion without oversight • Experience with change management and defining team processes, procedures, and best practices • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills • More than one year of enterprise network troubleshooting experience • Availability during 9am–6pm Pacific Time and occasional after-hours/on-call rotation • Legally authorized to work in the United States
