📋 Description

• Hire, inspire, and grow high-performing Machine Learning Scientists, Data Scientists, and Analytics Engineers • Lead partnerships with stakeholders across product management, engineering, consumer insights, content, and strategy • Instill an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative culture • Develop a team charter and roadmap that optimizes team impact and reflects evolving business needs • Act as an ambassador between Product, Engineering, Strategy, and DSE teams • Maintain deep knowledge of how the Netflix Ads product works • Ensure the team produces trustworthy, high-quality technical outputs that influence and impact the business • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define models-and-algorithms blueprints for business goals • Apply analytical methods to evaluate concepts, dissect challenges, build models and workflows, provide recommendations, and drive end-to-end initiatives in the ads space

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated tenacity, resilience, and leadership experience organizing and driving cross-functional projects • Ability to assess complex systems quantitatively and qualitatively • High emotional intelligence and ability to act as a product ambassador • Player-coach capability: develop roadmaps and strategy while executing technical work • Superb communication, meticulous writing, and presentation skills for technical and creative audiences • Experience building and leading hybrid Data Science and Machine Learning teams in the Ads space • Ideally, exposure to real-time bidding, auction mechanics, or budget pacing/delivery optimization • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses and use analytics for quantitative recommendations • Passion for TV and movies and defining the future of entertainment
