📋 Description

• Work with customers to solve technical and operational network automation challenges • Maintain frequent client communications • Lead interactive discovery and design sessions • Participate in regular meetings to ensure client satisfaction • Influence client opinions through technical recommendations and respond to objections • Identify project risks and challenges, develop resolution plans, and support troubleshooting • Track project progress and correct delays • Perform peer reviews, provide guidance, and contribute to coding best practices • Build automation designs with Engineers and Managing Consultants, including technology stacks and abstraction levels • Lead customer calls and explain solution tradeoffs to executive leadership • Translate manual workflows into high-level and low-level designs • Develop technical documentation for client solutions • Adopt new technologies and demonstrate technical excellence • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from assessment and design through development, demonstration, deployment, and documentation • Develop software for internal and customer-facing projects

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing, consulting role • Ability to break down complex concepts and present them clearly and concisely to varied audiences • Ability to make sound usability decisions involving naming, user experience, complexity tradeoffs, layout, and mapping technical solutions to customer skillsets • Comfortable context switching and working on multiple projects simultaneously • Experience with CI/CD and its application to network automation • Experience with data management concepts, including Infrastructure as Code and Source of Truth strategy • Familiarity with Ansible and/or Python for automating networking devices • Familiarity with Flask/Django for creating custom APIs • Familiarity with pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Salt, and Robot Framework • Familiarity with traditional Git workflows in collaborative environments • Strong understanding of Source of Truth automation strategy • CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge • Passion for customer experience and success • Solicitude in helping customers throughout their automation journey • Honesty and empathy toward colleagues and customers • Focused, solution-oriented approach to completing projects • Confidence and decisiveness combined with flexibility and openness • Ability to demonstrate new technology in a way that resonates with customers
