📋 Description

• Deploy, manage, automate, and troubleshoot network, cloud, and server infrastructure for small and mid-sized business clients • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues • Own Cisco Meraki environments from deployment through ongoing support, including staging, configuration, installation, testing, and acceptance • Diagnose latency, packet loss, connectivity, wireless, and other user-impacting issues using the OSI model, Wireshark, packet captures, and Meraki Dashboard • Coordinate ISP, carrier, supplier, escalation, and dispatch activities through resolution • Analyze network, server, and Azure alerts to identify root causes • Develop and maintain automated runbooks and integrate APIs and management platforms • Automate repeatable remediation and operational processes • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures • Administer standardized management tools and relevant systems securely • Support disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans • Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits and ensure timely patching • Harden device and network configurations • Monitor and resolve escalated service tickets • Develop training programs for the service desk team • Document internal processes and procedures • Enter time, expenses, activities, and service tickets in ConnectWise • Travel to prospects and customers for on-site client work as required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with small and mid-sized businesses in a services-based environment • 5+ years of networking experience, including Meraki support • 3+ years of experience supporting Azure environments • 3+ years of experience in automation using Python and/or PowerShell • 3+ years of experience handling alerts and alarms for network, server, and Azure environments, including automation of standard runbooks • Ability to install a Meraki network from hardware receipt through user testing and acceptance • Ability to use the OSI model to troubleshoot complex system and network issues • Ability to coordinate with network suppliers and carriers • Ability to use packet analysis tools to identify root causes • Experience installing and configuring Meraki cloud firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN environments • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and IT service delivery • Professional IT certifications or equivalent experience, such as Microsoft AZ-104, Microsoft AZ-140, CCNA, Meraki Solutions Specialist, or Python Certification • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-moving environment
