• Facilitate development of the Business Unit Master Plan to deliver long- and short-term business objectives through system deployment and capability building • Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual deployment strategies, plans, and tactics with site leadership • Develop site capability to identify, facilitate, and track functional cost improvement projects • Align continuous improvement initiatives with the Overarching Strategic Plan and PEAK implementation strategy • Coach and facilitate leadership teams through integration of continuous improvement methods and strategy • Build capability and deploy systems to optimize value streams and work processes • Implement corporate loss analysis, idea generation, and promotion processes • Support annual productivity goals at facilities • Support productivity governance and program management through monthly, quarterly, and annual reports • Support development of manufacturing productivity budgets at site level • Provide analytics and business intelligence for project selection, root-cause analysis, and project validation • Ensure objectives are cascaded and understood • Link pillar/PACS work groups to prioritized business opportunities • Teach and support teams in using problem-solving and tracking tools • Validate projects and initiatives regularly with functions or operating units • Network with global and organizational leaders to learn and share best practices • Provide guidance and alignment supporting the global PEAK agenda • Build capability of internal resources needed for critical initiatives • Foster relationships with various functions • Ensure PEAK work impacts business results and culture change, including capability building, total employee involvement, linking activities to business needs, and successful capital project implementation
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field required • Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in a Central Supply Chain role with strategic and tactical experience in continuous improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma), focused on education and training • 5 years of functional or operational leadership experience in a continuous improvement methodology environment • Six Sigma, Lean, TPM, or similar certification preferred • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to organize and manage projects with positive results • Ability to build trust and interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management • Creative, reliable, organized, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and self-starter • Ability to motivate, develop people, communicate, listen and perceive • Willingness to accept change and ability to lead change • Ability to professionally challenge current or traditional ways of thinking and lead new approaches • Verbal and written communication skills • Computer literacy, including mastery of Microsoft Office Suite • Proven project management leadership and expertise • Problem resolution skills, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail • Ability to work in a high-volume, high-output environment • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to Supply Chain locations across the US and internationally
