📋 Description

• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and procedures • Identify and immediately report potential field hazards • Correctly use PPE and participate in safety training, Pre-Job Briefs, and Job Safety Analysis • Conduct routine inspections of solar energy systems • Perform preventative maintenance, including inspecting solar modules, checking wiring integrity, and tightening connections • Identify and report equipment deficiencies, anomalies, and structural issues to senior team members • Assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting of solar energy systems • Use diagnostic tools to identify and isolate basic system issues • Perform minor repairs under direct supervision • Complete work order documentation accurately and promptly • Maintain records of daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs • Participate in company training programs to improve technical skills and solar knowledge • Assist team members and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • 0–1 year of experience in the solar industry or a related field • Prior construction, general labor, or basic electrical work experience highly preferred • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills • Comfortable operating in low-voltage and non-hazardous situations with supervision • Proficient and comfortable using hand tools, impact drills, electric power tools, and hammer drills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management skills • Desire to work as part of a collaborative team • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to drive safely and confidently • Ability to stand for long periods and walk up to three miles daily • Ability to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps while maintaining three points of contact • Visual acuity for depth perception, no field-of-vision issues, and ability to distinguish colors • Comfort working in extreme heat above 100°F or extreme cold below 32°F for periods exceeding one hour • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
