• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures • Identify and report potential field hazards immediately • Use appropriate personal protective equipment correctly at all times • Participate in safety training, Pre-Job Briefs, and Job Safety Analysis • Conduct routine inspections of solar energy systems • Perform preventative maintenance, including inspecting solar modules, checking wiring integrity, and tightening connections • Identify and report equipment deficiencies, anomalies, or structural issues to senior team members • Assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting of solar energy systems • Use fundamental diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and isolate basic system issues • Perform minor repairs under direct supervision • Complete required work order documentation accurately and promptly • Maintain accurate records of daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs • Participate in company-provided training programs • Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent • 0–1 year of experience in the solar industry or a related field • Prior experience with construction, general labor, or basic electrical work is highly preferred • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills • Comfortable operating in low-voltage and non-hazardous situations with supervision • Proficient and comfortable using hand tools, impact drills, electric power tools, and hammer drills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management skills • Strong desire to work as part of a collaborative team • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to drive a vehicle confidently and safely • Ability to stand for long periods and walk distances up to three miles a day • Ability to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps while maintaining 3 points of contact • Visual acuity for depth perception, no field-of-vision issues, and ability to distinguish between colors • Comfort working in extreme heat above 100°F or extreme cold below 32°F for periods exceeding one hour • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
